Job description
We are looking for a news editor at the Mavera Haber newsroom to verify reporter and agency stories and prepare them for the main bulletins and digital broadcast. The role requires shift work.
Responsibilities
- Verifying incoming stories with at least two sources
- Preparing headlines, leads and graphics requests
- Coordinating with the director and anchor during live broadcast
- Running correction and feedback processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's in journalism, communications or similar
- At least 4 years in a newsroom
- Decision-making under pressure and teamwork
