All broadcasts of Mavera Media Group comply with Law No. 6112 on the Establishment of Radio and Television Enterprises and Their Media Services and with the principle decisions of the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK).
News principles
- News is not published before it is verified with at least two independent sources
- Errors requiring correction are corrected in the same broadcast slot and prominently on the website
- Editorial decisions are made independently of political and commercial pressure; advertisers cannot interfere with news content
- The private life and personal data of individuals are protected
Programs and children's broadcasts
Children's slots contain no violence, dangerous behavior or inappropriate advertising. Every production is classified according to the rating system (general audience, 7+, 13+, 18+).
Advertising and sponsorship
Advertising is clearly separated from program content; product placement and sponsorships are announced at the start of the broadcast.
Audience ombudsperson
Viewers can submit feedback and complaints about broadcasts through the audience form or at izleyici@maveramedya.com.tr. Submissions are answered within 10 business days.
Transparency and accountability
The annual Broadcasting Transparency Report explains corrections made, viewer complaints, RTÜK penalties and warnings, and how the separation of advertising and program content is applied. News and program editors repeat professional ethics training every year. Conflict-of-interest disclosure is mandatory in production and advertising relations.
Employee rights
Reporters and production staff have the right to organize in unions. Set working hours cannot exceed 12 hours a day, and a mandatory rest period applies after night shoots.
